Infographics and narration

The use of figurative elements in the field of the infographic representations is often finalized to implement its communicativeness and to facilitate its understanding.
Some typologies of figurative elements result to be more effective in comparison to others. The thesis intends to verify, through a search of cases study, possibility and limits in the use of such elements associated to data and information to stretch a series of line-guide to concretely apply to a project in collaboration with the Department of Statistic of the University of the Studies of Milan and the Community of S.Patrignano, where is in demand the realization of a narrative run based on some infographics.

Infografica e narrazione

L’uso di elementi figurativi nel campo delle rappresentazioni infografiche è spesso finalizzato ad implementarne la comunicatività e agevolarne la comprensione.

Alcune tipologie di elementi figurativi risultano essere più efficaci rispetto ad altre.

La tesi intende verificare, attraverso una ricerca di casi studio, possibilità e limiti nell’uso di tali elementi associati a dati e informazioni per stendere una serie di linee-guida da applicare concretamente ad un progetto in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Statistica dell’Università degli studi di Milano e la Comunità di S. Patrignano, dove è richiesta la realizzazione di un percorso narrativo basato su alcune infografiche.
