The third and last exercise of the Integrated Course Final Synthesis Studio explores the narrative power of data and information visualizations through video stories. Students were asked to expose their researches and their experience in our Course, producing a narrative artifact.
In which way can they build solid arguments to support the taking of a stand on the observed phenomenon? How can they create a coherent story about their controversy? Motion graphics techniques were employed as a thick description method and they will show a personal point of view on complex issues. In this way, in this third phase, knowledge emerging from structured and official sources and from the results produced by the research based on digital methods in a complete story, able to satisfy some curiosity about global warming and able to initiate new dialogues on this.
